Baseball Recap: Sanger Comes Up Short

Sanger came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Celina Bobcats, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Sanger saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Hendricks, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Celina, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6-1.

While Sanger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
