Soccer Recap: Sharyland Takes a Loss

Sharyland was the 1-0 winner over McAllen when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sharyland Rattlers fell 3-1 to the McAllen Bulldogs on Friday.

Sharyland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-3. As for McAllen, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sharyland will take on Rowe at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Sharyland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for McAllen, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
