Softball Recap: Montgomery County Indians vs. Corbin Redhounds
After losing to Corbin the last time they met, Montgomery County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Montgomery County Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Corbin Redhounds on Saturday and snuck past 11-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Montgomery County.
Reaghan Oney was incredible, going 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Brock, who went 4-for-5 with an RBI.
Montgomery County's win bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Corbin, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.
Montgomery County will take on Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery County will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Corbin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
