Basketball Game Preview: Milford Spartans vs. Plymouth Bobcats

The Milford Spartans will venture away from home to square off against the Plymouth Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

While Milford didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Souhegan with a sharp 55-30 victory on Tuesday. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Plymouth didn't have too much trouble with Kingswood on Tuesday as they won 44-27.

Milford pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Plymouth, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Milford strolled past Plymouth in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 by a score of 40-23. Will Milford repeat their success, or does Plymouth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
