Basketball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Baptist Academy was the 37-20 winner over Blair County Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Calvary Baptist Academy fell 46-39 to the Blair County Christian Bobcats on Tuesday.

Blair County Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Marucci, who to rack up 17 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Marucci has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Caleb Hileman was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Calvary Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Blair County Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Calvary Baptist Academy nor Blair County Christian have any future games scheduled.
