Softball Recap: Lincoln Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mount Tahoma

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They blew past the Mount Tahoma T-Birds 18-3 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Abes in their matchups with the T-Birds: they've now won eight in a row.

Joy Wilde was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Bass, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Tahoma only posted an OBP of .286.

Lincoln's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Mount Tahoma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
