Soccer Game Preview: Rockwall vs. Coppell

The Rockwall Yellowjackets will be taking part in a tournament against the Coppell Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Rockwall is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Byron Nelson on Friday. They fell just short of the Bobcat by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Coppell was forced to settle for a draw. They and Stratford finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Claire Pafford and Reagan Roberson scored both of Coppell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Rockwall's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. With that draw, Coppell's record moves to 1-0-1.

Rockwall might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Coppell in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Rockwall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
