Football Game Preview: Tylertown vs. North Pike

North Pike will challenge Tylertown on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.

North Pike took their game against Franklin County last Friday by a conclusive 54-23 score. No one had a better game by the numbers than junior Alijah Martin, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 156 yards on the ground and accumulated 387 passing yards.

Meanwhile, Tylertown had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 13-6 victory over McComb.

Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-2. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Tylertown and North Pike clash.
