Penobscot Valley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 86-17 victory over the Woodland Dragons. Given the Howlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Dragons are ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Penobscot Valley's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.3 points per game. As for Woodland, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penobscot Valley will host Schenck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Washington Academy at 6:00 p.m.
