Basketball Recap: Wells Takes a Loss

Wells lost against Martinsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wells Pirates were beaten by the Martinsville Pirates 77-19.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Martinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 20-13 record this season.

Wells will be playing in front of their home fans against Chester at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Martinsville, they will challenge Brookeland at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. Brookeland will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Martinsville surely won't give up without a fight.
