Basketball Game Preview: T.C. Roberson Rams vs. A.C. Reynolds Rockets

T.C. Roberson is 2-8 against A.C. Reynolds since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The T.C. Roberson Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the A.C. Reynolds Rockets at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in T.C. Roberson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Last Friday, T.C. Roberson was able to grind out a solid victory over Erwin, taking the game 69-58.

Meanwhile, A.C. Reynolds was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 65-59 to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee.

T.C. Roberson will have to contain Declan Brown as he made an impact in A.C. Reynolds' last game. He almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Brown's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Zach Dickey, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points.

Even though they lost, A.C. Reynolds smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 20 consecutive matches.

The win got T.C. Roberson back to even at 11-11. As for A.C. Reynolds, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.
