Volleyball Recap: Mountain Pointe Wins Going Away Against North

Mountain Pointe won the last time they faced North and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pride put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Mountain Pointe walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 25-19.

Isabella Meagher paced Mountain Pointe's offense, picking up 11 kills. Meagher got some help from Amirah Rankin and her 11 assists. Kaydence Livingston controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory got Mountain Pointe back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Mountain Pointe will square off against San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North, they will take on Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
