Football Recap: Fort Dorchester Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Fort Dorchester's offense. They took a blow against the White Knoll Timberwolves on Friday, falling 40-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Fort Dorchester now has a losing record of 2-3. As for White Knoll, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Dorchester will face off against Ashley Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Swamp Foxes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White Knoll, they will challenge River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Timberwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
