Soccer Recap: Eagle Grove Comes Up Short

Eagle Grove lost against Humboldt back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Eagle Grove has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 1-6-2 record this season. As for Humboldt, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9-1.

Coming up, Eagle Grove will head out on the road to face off against Webster City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Humboldt, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Belmond-Klemme on the 5th.
