Soccer Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence lost against Seton Catholic last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Florence Gophers came up short against the Seton Catholic Sentinels, falling 7-0. The defeat leaves the Gophers without a win on the season.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Seton Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florence will take on Parker in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence is facing Parker at the right time seeing as Parker is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Seton Catholic, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
