Softball Recap: Thatcher's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Thatcher made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ray, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Thatcher put the hurt on Ray with a sharp 14-1 victory on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Thatcher's third in a row) raised their record to 7-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Thatcher wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-6 defeat against Poston Butte on the 21st. As for Ray, they have also already played their next game, a 21-3 loss against Kingman Academy on the 20th.
