Soccer Recap: Coral Reef Finds Playoff Glory Versus Ferguson

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Coral Reef walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Ferguson Falcons on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Barracudas, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Ferguson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Rocio Diaz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Coral Reef has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Ferguson, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5-2.

Coral Reef will challenge Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ferguson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
