Valley Regional came tearing into Monday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Portland Highlanders 3-0. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Valley Regional took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15, 25-13.

Valley Regional's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Portland, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
