Baseball Game Preview: Lebanon Cedars vs. Conestoga Valley Buckskins

Lebanon hasn't had much luck against Conestoga Valley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cedars will take on the Buckskins at 4:15 p.m. Lebanon has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Carlisle hit Lebanon with a seven-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cedars lost 13-3 to the Thundering Herd. The Cedars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Diego Serrano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Valley narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Solanco 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buckskins.

Conestoga Valley now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Lebanon beat Conestoga Valley 14-10 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cedars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
