Recap: Towner-Granville-Upham vs. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood
Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood won the last time it faced Towner-Granville-Upham, and things went their way on Friday, too. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood took their game against Towner-Granville-Upham by a conclusive 48-18 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood had established a 40-6 advantage.
No one had a larger role in the success than junior Nate Beha, who brought his A game into the match. He threw 2 TDs and picked up 44 yards on the ground.
Towner-Granville-Upham got a solid performance out of junior Jared Lovro, who picked up 57 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs; unfortuately, it just wasn't enough for the win. This was the first game for both teams, giving Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood a 1-0 record and starting Towner-Granville-Upham off at 0-1.
Next week, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood take on Shiloh Christian at 7:00 PM. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, they will face of against Dunseith.
