Helena has gone 9-1 against Hellgate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bengals will be playing at home against the Knights at 12:00 p.m. Helena is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Helena is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Sentinel, who was ranked 19th at the time (Helena was ranked seventh). The Bengals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-1. That's two games straight that the Bengals have won by exactly two runs.

Faith Howard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Keira Campbell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Klemp, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Hellgate came up short against Ronan on Friday and fell 15-10.
Hellgate got a massive performance out of Nat Blaney, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Donalynn Headswift was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Helena's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hellgate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Hellgate's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Helena has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Hellgate, though, as they've been averaging 10.7 hits. Given Helena's sizable advantage in that area, the Knights will need to find a way to close that gap.
Helena took their victory against Hellgate in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
