Meanwhile, Portage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Crown Point.

While Portage was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Crown Point's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-20.

Morgan Township's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Portage, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
