Basketball Recap: Rothsay Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ashby last Tuesday, Rothsay came back down to earth. The Rothsay Tigers took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ada-Borup/Norman County West Cougars on Thursday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rothsay's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ada-Borup/Norman County West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Rothsay won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Underwood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Underwood will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Rothsay surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ada-Borup/Norman County West, they will head out to square off against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
