Basketball Recap: McKenzie Comes Up Short

McKenzie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. The game between them and the Eddyville Eagles didn't end well, with the McKenzie Eagles falling 45-27. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against McKenzie this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-21 back in January.

McKenzie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Eddyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKenzie will head out to take on Triangle Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eddyville, they will head out on the road to face off against Alsea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
