Softball Recap: Fife Comes Up Short

Fife dropped their record down to 14-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-0 to the Peninsula Seahawks. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Trojans haven't been shut out since back in April.

As for Peninsula, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

For Peninsula's part, Izzy Michaels was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Fife nor Peninsula have any future games scheduled.
