Conway Springs Wins 16th-Straight Thanks to Isaac Winter
Isaac Winter was instrumental in extending Conway Springs's winning streak to 16 on Friday. Nobody could stop Winter as he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

While Keveon Ruiz delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Medicine Lodge. Nobody could stop Ruiz as he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 129 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended two passes.
For the year, Ruiz has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 173 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five passing touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Seth Dugan Leads Garden Plain over Haven
Garden Plain was led to victory by Seth Dugan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dugan rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
Garden Plain now has a winning record of 3-2. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Owls faces off against Kingman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
