Montgomery County got themselves on the board against Bourbon County on Monday, but Bourbon County never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Colonels with a sharp 11-0 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Brody Roland was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Rex Turner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Montgomery County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Montgomery County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Bourbon County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
