League recap: Wylie Prep Academy tops Hill to extend winning streak

Adding to the longest winning streak in TCAF District 1 (6 Man) this week, Wylie Prep Academy beat Hill 59-12,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Lakeland Christian Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 63 points on Cornerstone Christian Academy. Hunter Varnell ran for 100 yards and caught 1 pass for 57 yards during the win.

Westlake Academy's Nick McCune and Aaron Pinto have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McCune has thrown for 974 yards this season, while Pinto has 11 catches for 257 yards. The Lions' Varnell leads the league in rushing yards with 246.

The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Lakeland Christian Academy's Cole Miller. Melvin Harper's team beat the Warriors when he connected with Varnell on a 57-yard pass.
