Immanuel has gone 8-2 against Hanford West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Hanford West took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Immanuel, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Immanuel got the win against Reedley by a conclusive 3-0.

Immanuel walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hanford West unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Sierra Pacific by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hanford West was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sierra Pacific work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21, 24-26, 20-25, 16-14.

Immanuel is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15 record this season. As for Hanford West, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-7-3.

Immanuel skirted past Hanford West 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
