Softball Recap: Centerville Tornadoes vs. Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy
Centerville extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-9. They came up short against Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, falling 15-0. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
As for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, their record now sits at 4-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.
For Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy's part, Isabel Waltner looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Waltner has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
