Softball Recap: Narragansett Beats Times Squared Academy for Their Third Straight Win

Narragansett won against Classical last Thursday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Mariners' way against the Times Squared Academy Eagles as they made off with an 18-3 victory. The Mariners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

The win (which was Narragansett's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Times Squared Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Narragansett will square off against rival Rogers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Times Squared Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Middletown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
