Basketball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Brewster Bulldogs were beaten by the Cheylin Cougars 78-31. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheylin found their leader in freshman Landon Schoenberger, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Kohen Pochop, who earned 13 points and seven rebounds.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Cheylin, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Brewster is taking a road trip to square off against St. Francis on Tuesday. Brewster is facing St. Francis at the right time seeing as St. Francis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cheylin, they have already played their next contest, a 57-53 win against Northern Valley on the 8th.
