It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Eagle's Landing Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They blew past the Stockbridge Tigers 5-2. Layla Lewis was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy moved to 3-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Stockbridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will challenge Creekside Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creekside Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Eagle's Landing Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stockbridge, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alcovy at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
