Softball Recap: Harmony Grove Comes Up Short

Harmony Grove suffered their biggest loss since March 2nd on Thursday. They came up short against the Drew Central Pirates, falling 13-3. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Harmony Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Drew Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony Grove will face off against Centerpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Drew Central, they will square off against McGehee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Owls' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
