Case faced Hampshire Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by  a  13-0 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 15 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Lila Alvarez was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances with three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Skye Dupre was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Breanna Fontes, who  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI.
 Case  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hampshire Regional only posted  an  OBP of  .160.
The  victory (which was Case's sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-5. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hampshire Regional, they moved to 25-2 with that  loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Case nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
