Baseball Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Methodist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Slocomb Red Tops. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Tops this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Thursday.

Northside Methodist Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI was Collins' first of the season.

Northside Methodist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Slocomb, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Northside Methodist Academy will square off against Beebe at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Slocomb, they will face off against W.S. Neal at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
