Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian Academy and Trinity Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Heritage Christian Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Trinity Christian. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Trinity Christian earlier this season, when they won 45-37.

This is the second loss in a row for Heritage Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Heritage Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against The Habersham School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
