Haxtun has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Sedgwick County Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Tuesday, Haxtun came up short against Weldon Valley and fell 3-1. While the Fightin' Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 31-29 in the first set.

Meanwhile, Sedgwick County entered their tilt with Heritage Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles.
Sedgwick County was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 24-26, 25-19.
Haxtun's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Sedgwick County, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
