Soccer Recap: Hayden Takes a Loss

Hayden came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Seaman Vikings. Hayden were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seaman apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Seaman, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Hayden will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Washburn Rural. Washburn Rural will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Hayden surely won't give up without a fight. As for Seaman, they will head out to challenge Leavenworth at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaman will be up against Leavenworth's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.07 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
