Baseball Recap: St. Joseph's Prep Comes Up Short

St. Joseph's Prep and Archbishop Wood squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but St. Joseph's Prep had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Vikings since May 2, 2018.

John Sitler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

St. Joseph's Prep now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Archbishop Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Joseph's Prep nor Archbishop Wood have any future games scheduled.
