Softball Recap: Cooper's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Cooper had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-6-1 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans with a sharp 9-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, they moved to 14-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but Cooper's pitcher proved too tough.

For Legacy School of Sport Sciences' part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Arredondo, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against International Leadership of Texas Katy Westpark at 5:00 p.m.
