Basketball Game Preview: South Fayette Lions vs. Bethel Park Black Hawks

The South Fayette Lions will head out to take on the Bethel Park Black Hawks at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, South Fayette was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Ringgold.

Meanwhile, Bethel Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Trinity.

South Fayette now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bethel Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

South Fayette skirted past Bethel Park 49-47 when the teams last played back in January. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Black Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
