Sulligent has gone 8-2 against South Lamar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Blue Devils will challenge the Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sulligent took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down Aliceville 40-22. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, South Lamar was able to grind out a solid win over Lynn on Friday, taking the game 46-34.

South Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sulligent, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Sulligent against South Lamar when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 42-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
