After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holmes, Northeastern was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northeastern was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Emma Mullins paced Northeastern's offense, picking up nine kills. Mullins got some help from Mia Jones and her 15 assists. Mullins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ann-Margaret Peel, who had 12 assists and five digs, and Riley Batts, who had seven digs and two aces.

The win got Northeastern back to even at 2-2. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Northeastern has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Perquimans on the 20th. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they will square off against Lawrence Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
