Football Recap: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Seminole County Indians
Friday just wasn't the day for Terrell County's offense. They were outmatched by the Seminole County Indians on the road and fell 36-0. The Greenwave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Kamauri Johnson had an outrageously good game for Seminole County as he rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Johnson's longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Terrell County is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Seminole County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Terrell County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pelham at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st. As for Seminole County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 22-6 win against Randolph-Clay on the 25th.
