Mission Hills came into Wednesday's   match looking for another win against Poway, but  Abby Kroepel wouldn't allow it. The Titans walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Grizzlies  on Wednesday for which the team can thank  Kroepel, who  had 30  digs and two  aces. She has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last four times she's  played.
 While Poway might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mission Hills scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-22,  28-26.
 Mission Hills' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Keilani Pacheco, who  had nine  digs and two  aces. Another player making a difference was  Jaelynn Le, who  had 12  digs and two  assists.
Poway has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record  this season. As for Mission Hills, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-8 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Poway will  take on  rival Mt. Carmel  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Mission Hills is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Oceanside  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
