Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Booker T. Washington extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Marquez Daniel. The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles came out on top against the LAMP Golden Tigers by a score of 42-32 on Tuesday thanks in part to Daniel, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last ten games he's played.

Dylan Purter was another key player, putting up four points along with seven rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game.

Booker T. Washington's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for LAMP, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Trinity Presbyterian the next time they take the court. Booker T. Washington will host Trinity Presbyterian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while LAMP will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
