Basketball Recap: Greenville Classical Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against New Covenant School

Greenville Classical Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the New Covenant School Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 55-33. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Greenville Classical Academy will take on Lake Pointe Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for New Covenant School, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Oakwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in New Covenant School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
