Basketball Recap: Springdale Prep Takes a Loss

Springdale Prep suffered their biggest loss since November 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm 73-32. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

This is the second loss in a row for Springdale Prep and nudges their season record down to 17-15. As for Mercersburg Academy, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Springdale Prep has already played their next game, a 59-18 victory against Saint James on the 28th. As for Mercersburg Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-32 win against Springdale Prep on the 29th.
