Basketball Recap: Scheck Hillel Community School Takes a Loss

The Scheck Hillel Community School Lions took a blow against the Moore Haven Terriers on Tuesday, falling 64-22.

Sa'Nyree Myers produced another solid effort going 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 42 points and six rebounds for Moore Haven. That makes it six consecutive games in which Myers has scored at least a third of the Terriers' points. Another player making a difference was Charisma Micco, who posted two points in addition to seven steals and six boards.

Scheck Hillel Community School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Moore Haven, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scheck Hillel Community School will venture away from home to square off against Somerset Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Moore Haven, they will head out to challenge Pahokee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
